Welcome! Osito’s Childcare is a family-based childcare center offering a loving and nurturing home environment that supports each child’s natural development. Conveniently located in Ben Lomond, California, Osito’s (Spanish for “Little Bears”) offers a small group setting for children 1 year to kindergarten-age and is open year-round, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Osito’s is owned and operated by Jesucita Licona, a California licensed childcare provider with years of experience working with children. In addition, because childhood represents the best time to learn language and to develop an appreciation for cultural diversity, Osito’s Childcare also offers children immersion in both Spanish and English. By speaking another language in context and within normal daily interactions, children learn new languages easily. Spanish and English are spoken at different times in the day, allowing children to be immersed in both languages.
